Dr. Michelle Komm is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education in Sport Science. Dr. Komm furthered her education and training and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2003. Her teaching career started as a teaching assistant at the University of Kansas in the Health Sciences Department. She continued her role as a teaching assistant in her graduate studies for a wide variety of disciplines with the health sciences.
Dr. Komm started teaching on-ground classes in 2005. She remained an on-ground teacher as she explored the facilitation of hybrid courses involving an online component. In 2006, Dr. Komm transitioned from on-ground courses to fully online classes. Over the past several years, Dr. Komm has facilitated courses including health sciences, financing and reimbursement methods, healthcare computing, practice management, electronic medical records, and the management of information and communication within a healthcare setting. She has also provided her services as a Program Director for many different allied health programs both online and on-ground, as well as assisted in the creation of course curriculum and program development.
