Erinne M. Perry, CPA is a New York native from South Jamaica, Queens with over nine years of tax experience in the public accounting sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from Monroe College and an MBA in Financial Services from Metropolitan College of New York. Although Erinne M. loves accounting, and the financial world, she resigned from Corporate America in August of 2016 to embark on a journey as a social entrepreneur to develop her domestic, and international youth development organizations.
Erinne’s entrepreneurial journey has been nothing short of a roller coaster, however, in her opinion, a ride worth taking. After several of her projects failed within the first year of resignation, she found herself financially strapped. Despite having credentials and the ability to return to Corporate America to earn a decent living Erinne decided if she had to go back to work, she would only do something she loves. With much thanks to the late Dr. Jacob Lamar, former dean of the accounting Department at Monroe college, she was able to discover her love for sharing her knowledge with others as an accounting and finance tutor.
Erinne has been able to share her love for accounting and finance teaching on various levels, teaching individuals ranging from Elementary school to adult learners and working professionals. She is currently a Certified Bookkeeping Instructor at Pace University and the Technical Institute of America, where she prepares working professionals for the Certified Bookkeeping designation administered by the American Institute of America. In addition, she is an accounting Professor at her alma mater, Monroe College. When Erinne isn’t teaching, she’s continuously in pursuit of her social entrepreneurial endeavors, developing her organizations, LORI, Athletic Intellectuals, and Arrow Point Taxes.
