Dr. Michelle Komm holds a B.S.Ed. with an emphasis on Sport Science from the University of Kansas and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Over the last 18 years, she has performed several roles within the allied health and medical field. She has extensive experience assisting in the facilitation of patient care including, but not limited to, patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. She has wide-range of knowledge and skill counseling patients regarding nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, stress management, and other health related matters. Dr. Komm is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and a Certified Professional Coder Instructor (CPC-I).
During the last ten years, Dr. Komm has been teaching within a variety of allied health and medical programs. Dr. Komm has considerable teaching experience within the fields of exercise science, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, medical coding, electronic medical record keeping, and nutrition. She has been recognized for both her dedication and teaching excellence within higher education.
